Posted in Daily Life Blurbs by Jason Case on February 28, 2012

We live approximately two blocks from the harbor in Kennedy Town yet we hardly ever go down there.  A few Saturdays ago the kids and I stopped for a visit, I got a clip.

Ezri’s Toys Get a Bath

Posted in Exhilarating EZRI Excerpts by Jason Case on February 26, 2012

When Ezri was sick with the flu last week, we had to go in and sanitize her bed including her sheets and dolls.  Yes she sleeps with all these guys!  Needless to say she’s been sleeping better without them.  Praise God our baby girl is back up to her usual shenanigans, bossing Javi around and dressing up as a ladybug-fairy-princess.

Ezri’s Got Bows and Talent

Posted in Exhilarating EZRI Excerpts by Jason Case on February 22, 2012

Ezri’s been fighting the flu the past week but the few weeks before I got some pics of her sporting the bows Grandma Case sent back to Hong Kong with her.  Sheepy even got in on the act.  I also took the kids to see the Muppets movie and Ezri adapted a song from the movie and made it her own.  Make sure you catch the kickin shirt (Go Cards!).  We start em young in the Case family.  Also, don’t miss Ezri’s nails when she’s doing homework.

ISS Annual Dinner 2012 – The Year of the Dragon

Posted in Daily Life Blurbs by Jason Case on February 22, 2012

Just when I think I’m finally starting to get a hang of this whole living in Asia deal do I get thrown a curve ball.  Last Friday night was our company dinner, it was a lollapalooza of Chinese culture, a bit of tradition, Hollywood, team building, and 80s glitz all rolled up into one 9-course Chinese dinner, a night of public appreciation for employees.

The lovely Mrs. accompanies me to this event. Posing by the Western Tunnel in front West HK.

The big bosses toasting to another year of continued success.

People posing with dragons in the Year of the Dragon.

No employee appreciation dinner would be complete without the Rock Show segment.  I hear these guys were a big deal in the late 80s, early 90s

About 1/2 the FCO team representing.

There was also a pretty huge giveaway that included a 3D TV, an iPad, a Samsung phone and about 18000HKD.

Pack all that into 4 hours and night complete, employees appreciated.

I haven’t taken any movie clips in quite some time so I just wanted to share with family and friends the amazing things God is doing at Watermark.  This particular week we were maxed out.  The church is 16 months old and meets in Cyberport 3 on Sundays at 10:30.

Back in Hong Kong

Posted in Daily Life Blurbs, Tantalizing Travel by Jason Case on February 3, 2012

18 hours in the air and we finally made it back to Hong Kong.  Tomorrow will be one week.  I’ll try to get some posts up next week.  Still trying to get over jet lag.  Only bad thing about going home over the holidays is that we came back with as much stuff as we brought when we moved here the first time.  Someone saw me in the airport and asked.  Moving here or just visiting?

Sojourn Membership

Posted in Daily Life Blurbs by Jason Case on February 2, 2012

Mel and I got  a big kick out of this Sojourn membership advertisement we saw while visiting over the holidays.  Look closely above the U and R in Sojourn and you see Mel and Jay circa late 2006, early 2007.  Glad to see the pics are still getting some mileage.  Somebody mail this to us once your finished with it ;-) .
