Jon sent me some pics he took from last Sunday’s baby shower.  They got some from Dim Sum and then a few of the kids at the baby shower.

Ezri & Javi’s Finger Puppet Theater

Mel bought the kids some finger puppets last weekend and they wasted no time building a finger puppet theater to showcase their new goods.  Pappy Wayne check out Ezri’s engineering feat in the 2nd video.  This is a girl after your heart.

Ezri & Javi’s Music Lesson

So we tried out airbnb here a few weeks back and our host named Yeeman (which the kid’s loved) said that she actually used to live in Kennedy Town and still teaches music there.  Melanie signed the kids up for an interest class at Cantabile, a music store/lesson center and guess who the kid’s teacher is?  None other than Teacher Yeeman.  The kids really enjoyed themselves but I must admit I got a little overzealous in my own participation, check it out:

Preparing Ezri & Javi for the Uganda Adoption

On April 10th and 11th we completed the interview portion of our home study which we hope will begin the process of our family adopting a sibling set from Uganda.  In anticipation of the adoption we thought it might be a good idea to get Ezri & Javi African cabbage patch kids to help them get used to the idea.  My mom made some clothes for the dolls and it was a huge success!

Cases Visit Arnel and Anna in Pui O (1 of 2)

I planned a 3-day staycation for us over the Easter Holiday.  The first day we visited our friends and former community group mates Arnel, Anna and Paolo in Pui O.  The plan was to take the ferry to Mui Wo were I booked a room via Airbnb.com and then take the bus 10 minutes to Pui O and eat lunch with the Cedenos and then head over to the Pui O beach with them.

One thing about the possibility of moving to Tai Wai is that it’s one stop away from New Town Plaza, one of the busiest malls in Hong Kong and the location of the world-famous Snoopy World.

Ezri and Javi – Sports Day – 2012

Sun Island has a big sports day (think field day) for all their school in Hong Kong once a year in Lai Chi Kok.  I didn’t get to attend this year but Melanie was able to take some pictures for me.  Ezri was able to have some fun with her good friend Bhairavi.
