New City Church, Shatin – Vision Casting, Lunch Invitation

Our friends at New City Church have been meeting regularly and praying for 8 months now about starting a church plant in Shatin.  On April 14th, there was a vision casting meeting and it was decided that May 6th is the day.  The church will have an inaugural luncheon on April 29th to meet people in the area seeking a community of believers in which to belong.  The church will soft launch on May 6th, 11am at International Christian School.  Please be praying for this group as they launch into this new venture.  May God’s blessing be upon them and that he draw people to himself through the expression of his bride that is New City Church.  Please consider supporting this new church if you live in the Shatin area.

New City Core Group Gathering entered the 4th week of Building a Discipleship Culture, the week –> Leadership – Discipleship

We also welcomed a another new couple that arrived from good old Arkansas, Brad and Carol, by praying for them.

 

New City Church Plant, Shatin – Core Group Gathering – Phase 2

The New City Church Plant in Shatin is entering phase two.  We’re going through a curriculum called Building a Discipling Culture.  The first week we discussed the cycle of Repentance and Belief.  The second week – Rest and Work

 

New City Church Shatin – Core Group – Christmas Dinner

We met at an Italian restaurant called Luca’s way out on the outskirts of Tai Po.  The atmosphere was great and the spaciousness is unheard of in Hong Kong.  We got a group pic, pretty handsome group.  Hoping God multiplies it very soon.

This was one of the last core group gathering for the New City Church plant in Shatin.  The Pastors have been praying for someone to lead worship and God didn’t waste any time providing.  Wilson Ho stepped up and did a great job, we’re hoping God calls him to play a big part moving forward.
