Ezri & Javi @ The Art Exhibit Opening

Posted in Daily Life Blurbs by jpcase01 on February 18, 2011

The i-dArt Gallery had an opening for a calligraphy exhibit, so the kids and I went to check it out.  Ezri is always keen to go to the Art Gallery, and we’ve made friends with two of the ladies who help manage and run the place.  The kids got to see a couple of the artist write out a few things, Ezri wrote her own name on the large guest banner, and one of the artist even explained a bit about one of his pieces to us!  He was so kind and wanted to try out some of his English conversation skills with us and we were more than happy to listen!

This place and what they are doing by equipping and enabling people with various abilities is so humbling and uplifting!  All of the contributing artists have some type of physical or mental difficulties, and yet, as you can see, they also have great talents.  I praised God just being in this place and seeing a tangible way by which he can redeem any and all things that we humans see as broken (including our own hearts!)  He is capable and nothing is impossible with God–a good reminder for me too.
