Case Family in Hong Kong

Case Family Beginning New Chapter! Pray for us

Posted in Prayer Letters, Watermark Church HK by jpcase01 on September 17, 2012

Dear Family and Friends,

I just wanted to give everyone who follows our blog an update and ask for your prayers for our family’s transition.

Watermark Community Church, the family that’s sending….. is one that our family loves and will continue to support in what God is doing here through our prayers and continued communication. We believe that God put our family here in the Western District 2 years ago to help plant Watermark. Over the past year, God has been directing our family to help with another extension of his body here in HK. We have moved to Tai Wai, New Territories and will be involved with a church plant called New City Church (newcitychurch.hk). We don’t yet know all that God has in store for our family, but for now we will attempt to be helpful personalities in a new church body and community and aim to increase God’s Kingdom here on earth, just as we have at Watermark! Melanie’s last official day was Sunday, September 16th.

The Case family deeply appreciates all the continued support of Watermark to our family!  God is doing amazing things here amongst the churches in HK and the communities in which we live.  May we all continue to work together, alongside God, as he penetrates darkness with His glorious light all over Hong Kong! We would really appreciate your prayers for New City Church and for our family as we transition to a new home, new school, new community, new church and prepare for new children to be added to our family through adoption.  Pics below are from our last day at Watermark and a wonderful sendoff party that was given by our Watermark friends.  The internet has not been hooked up at our new place as of yet so updates may be sparse this week, but hopefully will be able to pick up again as soon as we get back online.

Romans 10: 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?

By His grace,

Melanie, Jason, Ezri, Javi and George

Jason, Mel, Ezri, Javi, and George,
As I looked through these pictures my heart hurt for you, because I remembered how hard it was to move when I was growing up and Daddy was called to another church, but I am also very proud of you, because as Daddy (Granddaddy) said, “If you are not in the place where God calls you, then you will never be TRULY happy.” I know that this can be a really confusing time for all of you, but just as it was with the Vincent family, as long as your family unit is together and depending on God, nothing is too great for you all to overcome. You are in my thoughts and continually in my prayers. With all my love, Aunt Gwenda (Love up on my babies real good!!!!!)
